WHAT IS MINI MOVERS?
Mini Movers Dance is a half hour danced based movement to music class for toddlers with their parent/carer
Consists of actions and songs based on well known nursery rhymes
Aimed at pre-schoolers (birth to five)
Encompasses various dance genres as well as drama and song

Mini All Sorts is perfect for little ones who haven't had any experience in dance and performance, this class provides the very basics of dance and movement such as simple stretches and fun dance routines in various styles including Street Dance, Cheerdance, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama. They also have opportunities to learn basic fun gym skills such as bunny hops, kicks and jumps, suitable for children who have never danced and performed before it is a fun relaxed class and can help with children who would like to try a basic dance class and work up to more advanced classes
In fun ballet we cover the basic ballet movements but the main aim is for the children to have fun and grow to love ballet and dance. We use musical appreciation, mimes, ballet exercises and dance steps to achieve this. The children also have the opportunity to do exams, shows and performances.
The School also offers graded ballet classes following the UKA Dance Syllabus.
This is a performance style that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance all in one. Classes are offered on three levels fun beginners, intermediate and advanced. Advanced levels include technique development and history of the musicals.
Dance Fusion is a great way of trying out lots of different styles before deciding what class your child would like to progress with.
This class covers many styles including Musical Theatre. Street and Cheer Dance , Jazz Dance
Cheer Dance includes gymnastic elements starting with beginners and developing a higher stamina throughout intermediate and advance levels. Classes are performed to current upbeat music learning co-ordination, timing and strength. When students move up to the advanced level they learn the fusion styles by mixing other dance styles together including street & tap dance this is a unique style only offered at All Sorts.
Street Dance is a fun way to improve fitness, confidence and Stamina. Classes start by building core strength, timing and
attitude moving on to our advanced level which includes fitness & gymnastic development to produce a higher level of choreography for medals.
Drama starts with fun beginners classes working on confidence, fun performance pieces and teamwork through to intermediate and advance levels where script work, monologues, short plays and performance technique are introduced.
These classes are a great way for children/Youth who are not wanting to perform but can express their creativity and still be involved by making props and scenery for upcoming events & main productions.
Students will learn painting and design techniques. they will also be given the option to showcase there work by taking the UKA Medal Awards starting at the bronze level and working up to Silver and Gold.
Freestyle Dance Gym is a very popular form of dance. It involves runs, spins, kicks, Flexibility, Gym Skills and leaps, as well as many other steps & movements.
The music can be fast or slow allowing Students to use freedom of expression to enhance their performing skills.
In the beginners class we start from basic shapes and positions which they can then build on and put together to make a routine and help with their learning and discipline in other areas.
Within the classes students work from basics and build on skills whilst still maintaining the skills they already have. We work on perfecting their technique within these skills and ensuring they have the pre-requisites to develop these skills further.
By perfecting their technique with some skills, it allows for them to find harder skills easier when it comes to learning them.
We work on strength and flexibility also by doing conditioning throughout the sessions and making this fun and interesting by turning them into circuits or games.
Tap Dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal "tap" on the heel and toe. This class looks at fusing the tap style with Street, Musical Theatre and Commercial Dance. This is a great class for the progressive dancer wanting to further their knowledge and skills in the performing arts
Brand new to All Sorts
Students will learn various styles of songs from musical theatre, pop and film.
This vocal coaching will enable your child to develop their own particular style and tone of singing to reach full potential of their voice!
Event & performance opportunities are also available at local events and care homes.
Jazz dance is fast and fun. It uses upbeat music and leaps and turns.
It first appeared on the dance scene in the early 1900s and gained in popularity through the 1950s.
Jazz Dance as a form of exercise, it allows students to show expression, it is a fast-paced form of dancing that engages participants' stamina, balance, and focus.
We offer this class either on a fun basis or further advanced performing arts development.
This class will enhance the students emotions and feelings towards dance by allowing them to embody various dance styles like; ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. It will allow them to demonstrate a clear display of emotions, fast moving choreography, unison and emphasis the lyrics of songs.
This class focuses on Street dance and commercial styles integrated together allowing the pupils to work on techniques of both styles. Within the class we learn new skills and new routines to perform at events and showcases, whilst also giving the students an opportunity to take exams in street dance. Pupils develop themselves as a dancer through technique practice and regular routines being learnt.
Here at All Sorts we produce two shows a year our annual pantomime and a Summer Showcase/Musical, Students must attend at least one class to take part in productions.

Dance beat fitness offers exercise to music combining dance and fitness moves using a variety of styles within the movement, targeting different muscle groups at once!
