This fun class is a great way to start your Musical Theatre journey with All Sorts. We build on confidence through learning fun singing skills to popular children's films & musicals and incorporate dance, movement & drama skills and singing techniques,
The Advanced Musical Theatre Class focuses on building singing vocals, different styles of dance, terminology & performance techniques to a higher level. Students work on routines which include all three elements. Dance, Drama & Singing to popular and current films and musicals.
Cheer & Street Fusion Dance class incorporates two styles which includes gymnastic moves, coordination, timing, strength and flexibility training. Students will learn fun routines covering a wide range of steps and techniques.
This is a unique style only offered at All Sorts.
Dance Fusion is a great way of trying out lots of different styles before deciding which class your child would like to progress with. This class covers many styles including Musical Theatre, Street Dance, Cheer Dance and Jazz Dance
This fun class works on building confidence, skills and working together as a team. Students work on scripts from popular children's plays & books.
The Advanced Drama Class works on Stage, Theatre & Drama terminology with fun performance pieces to a higher level Including , monologues, short plays and developing own performance material.
Mini All Sorts is the perfect start to your All Sorts journey. This is a fun based class building on confidence. Students will learn fun dance techniques, Party dances, Fun Pop and Musical Theatre songs
Street Dance is a fun way to improve fitness, confidence and stamina. Classes start by building core strength, skills, timing & attitude all classes are to modern current music.
The Advanced class focuses on Street dance and commercial styles integrated together allowing the pupils to develop more knowledge and range of styles.
Within the class we learn new skills and new routines to perform at events and showcases, whilst also giving the students an opportunity to take medals in street dance.
Pupils develop themselves as a dancer through technique practice and regular routines being learnt.
In fun ballet we cover the basic ballet movements but the main aim is for the children to have fun and grow to love ballet and dance. We use musical appreciation, mimes, ballet exercises and dance steps to achieve this.
The children also have the opportunity to do exams, shows and performances.
The School also offers graded ballet classes following the UKA Dance Syllabus
Freestyle Dance Gym is a very popular form of dance. It involves runs, spins, kicks, flexibility, gymnastic skills and leaps, as well as many other steps & movements. The music can be fast or slow allowing students to use freedom of expression to enhance their performing skills. In the beginners class we start from basic shapes and positions which they can then build on and put together to make a routine.
We work on perfecting their technique with some skills, which allows them to find harder skills easier when it comes to learning them. We work on strength and flexibility also by doing conditioning throughout the sessions and making this fun and interesting by turning them into circuits or games .
This fun beginners class works on basic techniques including flexibility, strength and stamina. Knowledge of Cheer Dance moves is incorporated into fun routines. Popular current music is used in all classes.
This class will enhance the students' emotions and feelings towards dance by allowing them to embody various dance styles such as; ballet, jazz, modern and hip hop. It will allow them to demonstrate a clear display of emotions, fast moving choreography, unison and to emphasise the lyrics of songs.
A Fun Beginners Class Students will learn a variety of Pop Songs with dance routines A great class if you are looking just for pure fun and enjoyment.
A Fun Beginners Class no partner needed
A fabulous dance style where traditional rhythms are mixed with Contemporary, Street dance, Lyrical etc. It is danced solo for the dancer to develop skills as a performer. The elegance of Ballroom dancing is brought up to date with amazing choreography.
All of the above classes offer opportunities to take our accredited UKA Medals & take part in upcoming performances; these are purely optional and not compulsory.
