Where are All Sorts Classes based?

Saturday Classes are at 

Bishop Perowne (Church Of England College) Merrimans Hill Rd, Worcester WR3 8LE

 

Wednesday Workshops are held at

Can I try a class before signing up?

Yes All Sorts now offer a taster session for our Saturday classes from September 2024

What do I need to wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing for example joggers, t-shirt (easy to move in) Pumps/Dance shoes (no bare feet, no school shoes) Hair past shoulder length to be tied back and away from face or in a bun.

Upon registration it will be expected that students will be wearing the All Sorts Uniform

How do I pay?

Once you have had your Free taster session you will be sent our online payment link to pay for the remaining fees for that half term.

When & where do I get uniform?

Once your child has enrolled into the school we will send a payment link  

How do I change classes?

If your child would like to change classes please contact infoallsortsofpa@gmail.com

How can I check on my child's development ?

Parents will receive a student report at the end of every half term in regards to your child's progress, we also invite parents in to watch the last ten minutes of class at the end of every half term. Should you have any concerns or wish for an update please contact your child’s class teacher.

Do you offer performance opportunities

Yes All Sorts offer a number of event performance opportunities throughout the year, we currently take part in many local events, The Worcester Carnival, St Peters Festival, Christmas Victorian fayre, Provide local care homes regular showcase performances as well as a yearly pantomime. The school also put on a yearly production of either a musical, pantomime or musical play.

Do we need to commit?

If your child has chosen to take part in events, performances and exams we do require 100% commitment to these.  

Do you offer exams?

All Sorts currently enter students for medals and grades once a year with the National Performing Arts Alliance and have 100% pass rate for exams, with many distinctions achieved. We like to see our students develop their skills and build confidence by offering an all-round system for taking exams, we offer each child the opportunity of taking an exam however, there is no pressure to take exams should your child not wish to do so. All routines/syllabus are learnt within class and depending on the level/grade taken can be performed as a group, trio, duet or solo.

Our Current Exam Programme is as below

MINI ALL SORTS 3-5 YEARS

JUNGLE JIGGERS is an exciting and inclusive performing arts programme here at All Sorts. This is available in Musical Theatre and Dance. We encourage Students to dress up and have fun!. Students at this level also work on within their classes the First Steps Contemporary NPAA Syllabus. 

DANCE, DRAMA AND MUSICAL THEATRE PROGRAMME

NON – REGULATED GRADE EXAMINATIONS
These examinations are designed for Students aged 6+ to no maximum age. These exams are suitable for students attending once a week as a hobby. These grades follow a flexible syllabus in Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre

PERFORMANCE AWARDS
This wide ranging and flexible suite of medal test examinations affords candidates of all ages and levels the chance to achieve. Available in Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre these exams can be taken solo, duet, trio or small groups. We encourage Students to wear show / performance, outfits where possible however, class uniform is perfectly acceptable too!

‘IT’S SHOWTIME!’ GROUP PERFORMANCE AWARDS
Available in Acting Dance & Musical Theatre these exams can be taken in a trio, quartet or a group. Students are encouraged to wear show / performance outfits where possible however, class uniform is perfectly acceptable too!

In addition to the above examination programme we also support all aspects of performing arts such as: Stage Design, Choreography, Filming, Light & Sound.

Is there extra costs for taking part in extra exam practice, events and performances

This all depends on our yearly Grant support funding budget.
